“There are two ways to live your life. One is though nothing is a miracle. The other is though everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein
Tender Mercies It seems like there are a lot of struggles in the world today--a lot of oppression, a lot of pain, a lot of grief. We hear about it all the time in the news and on our social media streams. We see it on billboards, in magazines, and screaming at us from any screen we happen to view. The truth is, life is not easy, and for many, the suffering is unimaginable. My soul aches when I think of it all.
Amidst the tragedy and the unfairness going on around us, I decided I wanted to create a page that gave us an opportunity to share hope, to share miracles, to share the times and places where God shows up in our story and provides a means for us to keep going. A tender mercy here, a friend’s help and an answered prayer there—all gentle reminders that we are not alone in this human experience we call life.
Please feel free to share your tender mercies. Let’s fill the world (or at least this page) with all the good news we can! Then we will have a gathering place for those days when we need reminded that even though life is far from perfect, it is still oh, so good!

GOOD NEWS
I lost my glasses and couldn't find them anywhere. It sounds silly, I know, but one morning I prayed that God would help me find them because I really needed them. When I went to teach school that morning, I looked in my bag, and there they were! I had looked in that bag numerous times and hadn't seen them, but they were right there. I felt God had heard me. So simple. But I needed that. -Amanda
My husband has been traveling for work a lot. I try to be really supportive because he has a good job and I'm grateful he is a good provider for our family, but sometimes it wears on me a little bit. Lately, I've just felt I needed him home. I haven't said anything, but he told me yesterday that his upcoming trip was cancelled. I thought it was a tender mercy. -Jane F.
My baby slept through the night for the first time last night! Yippee! I didn't think it was possible, but now I have hope. Sleep is awesome! -Missy
