As a graduate student of social work, I am passionate about providing assistance
to the oppressed, even in small ways. Below are two opportunities I became involved
in that gave me the chance to help others in a small but significant ways.
If you are interested in learning how you can get more involved, check out the sites below.
Become a Child Advocate & be a voice for children of abuse
For one year I volunteered as a court-appointed child advocate and worked to protect and advocate for an infant who was removed from parental care due to neglect and drug use. If you have just a few extra hours a month, there is a child who can use your help. Click the “Learn More” button below to see how you can become involved. Become a Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children
Our family took the opportunity to volunteer one evening and package nutritious meals for malnourished and starving children in schools, orphanages, and clinics around the world. It was an incredible experience! If you want to find out when FMSC is coming near you, or how you can help, click on the “Learn More” button below.
